I interviewed Brian for my Journey To Success radio show.
Brian considers himself an everyman and is very good at following his heart and listening to his intuition as it guides him to cultivate and activate his inner greatness (which comes out in many different creative ways). He feels like he was put here to be a living example for others to learn how to listen to their heart and step out of their comfort zones so that they can activate and cultivate their true inner gifts as well.
Having authored four books, (Brian’s List!, Finding Your Voice and the eBooks, The Art of Balance and Discover Your True Self), Benson is now completing a fifth self-improvement title, Be Yourself to Free Yourself! His first book Brian’s List – 26 ½ Easy to Use Ideas on How to Live a Fun, Balanced, Healthy Life! was the winner of a 2009 Next Generation Indie Book Award in the Self-Help Category. It was also an award-winning finalist in the Self-Help Motivational Category of the National Best Books 2009 Awards, sponsored by USA Book News. Brian’s new book Finding Your Voice was an award-winning finalist in both the 2013 Indie Excellence Book Awards and the National Best Books 2013 Awards. Brian has four children’s books coming out in 2013 with Children’s World Media.
In 2011 G Brian Benson finished a movie project that he wrote, produced and acted in called Guitar man that was filmed in downtown Reno, Nevada. The movie was written by Brian with the idea of sharing the messages ‘that we all have a lot in common’ and ‘that our true gifts reside within ourselves’. Guitar Man has been very well received…as of this writing it has been accepted to eleven movie festivals and was a winner at the Love Unlimited Film and Art Festival, won an honorable mention prize in the narrative short category at the 2011 Los Angeles Movie Awards as well as a Golden Reel Award from the Nevada Film Festival.
G Brian Benson just finished acting in the inspirational movie Seasons for Life (based on the short story The Cab Ride I’ll Never Forget by Kent Nerburn). Brian is currently in pre-production on another inspirational movie project called Searching for Happiness that he wrote.
From having mentored hundreds of troubled young people working as a community volunteer, G Brian Benson is eternally grateful to have gained the valuable lessons of listening, patience and empathy. To raise money for charity, Brian joined a group of fellow philanthropic bicyclists to ride from Seattle to Washington DC in 1996.
G Brian Benson is a natural athlete who has finished over fifty triathlons, including four Ironman distance races. A graduate of Oregon State University with a degree in Worksite Health Promotion, as well as CTA (Coach Training Alliance), Brian lives in Los Angeles, California and is represented by Waterside Literary Productions.
There comes a time in our lives when it becomes more painful for us to stay mired in our old habits than to step outside our comfort zone and risk the unknown as we journey toward finding our true voice. Your true voice is the language of authentic fulfillment, joy and happiness. While speaking your true voice creativity flows, fears subside, and peace of mind prevails.
Let G Brian Benson help you find your true voice while sharing his. Straight from his heart, all of these stories, poems and thoughts played an important role in his own personal growth experience. May they provide a guiding light to areas that are reawakening inside of you. May they give you permission to move forward, speak your true voice, and let your inner greatness out so that it may shine for all to see. It will be the best thing you ever did for yourself and the world.

"Brian's keen ability to listen to his heart to and follow his intuition has laid the blueprint for all of his successful projects and has served as an example for others to follow. In the modern world where the challenges seem to keep building up and the answers to those challenges often seem farther and father away, his guidelines for helping everyone develop their own ability to listen and follow their inner wisdom is truly a potent and powerful way to find the guidance we all need."
