From the Desk of Don Green,
We are delighted and excited to be a part of the inaugural Think and Grow Rich Summit 2013. The timing of the event and level of world-class speakers presenting at the event will make for a unique and positive experience for everyone involved.
We believe the conference is a terrific way to spread the word about how people can achieve success and happiness. In addition, I'll be at the event to speak and exhibit several rare items from the Foundation archives that very few people have ever seen. In addition, we are grateful that a percentage of the event proceeds will go towards the Napoleon Hill Foundation to help us expand upon our global vision!
Here are a few additional great reasons to join us this historic event in April:

Don M. Green,
The Power of the Mastermind

When you ask anyone closely linked to the success and personal development industry what book influenced them most you'll often hear one book's title come up over and over again. That book is Napoleon Hill's 1937 ground-breaking book Think and Grow Rich. The book's genesis was planted 20-years before its release when a young Hill was offered an opportunity by US Steel magnate, Andrew Carnegie, to interview and chronicle many of the top business leaders at the time.
Released at the height of the Great Depression, the book took off and has to date sold over 80- million copies and still counting 75-years after its original release date. As many of you know, the book is broken down into what Hill describes as the Thirteen Steps to Riches. I'd like to take a quick look at the ninth step to riches: Power of the Mastermind.
The old adage, "It's often not what you know, but who you know," is actually much truer than most people would either like to believe. Yes, the people you associate with is of extreme importance to sustained success in any field. They are either bringing you up to get better, keeping you at their same level, or attempting to bring you down based on their habits, behaviors and outlook on life.
In the speaking and publishing industry where I spend the majority of my time, I learned early on that getting around and studying from the very best in my field was a non-negotiable. Yes, I've paid thousands and thousands dollars above and beyond what I spent to earn a four-year college degree but I can say that without hesitation it's been a bargain.
The chance to network at key industry events, exchange ideas, and bounce best practices off of other super successful people in my industry has been invaluable to not only my own career, but more importantly to my clients who seek me out and count on me to be studying with and more importantly masterminding with the best and brightest minds in the world.
For example, in Think and Grow Rich, Hill tells the story of how Ford, Edison, and many other leaders at the time would meet on a regular basis to "Mastermind" and build their businesses into the giants of industry that shaped the American economy even today. They followed the simple, yet powerful, principle that when two or more minds meet together, with a common goal, they transmute the object of their goals into reality.
Fast forward to today and you still see the power of the mastermind at work and employed by many leaders in business that gather at industry trade meetings, conventions and within special roundtable forums with the #1 goal of sharing best practices to help one another.
So here's an interesting question to think about: where and how can you access other like minded, success seekers, and thought leaders in order to form your own Mastermind? We are delighted to let you in on a special opportunity to not only find such a place, but more importantly have it be with other people that are serious students and practitioners of Hill's timeless principles.
In the spirit of Napoleon Hill and the power of masterminding with other successful "Go-Getters" we are excited to announce the inaugural Think and Grow Rich Summit 2013!!
