Daniel Schneider - Public Relations Teacher at Humber Institute of Technology
Daniel is on the left
I met Daniel Schneider when I was filming a segment for David Wojcik's Rogers TV in Business show. I had the great opportunity to interview Daniel for my Journey To Success BlogTalkRadio show.
Brand Management Agency founder Daniel
Schneider brings eight years’ experience as a media relations specialist,
marketing advisor and project manager. Beginning his career as a sculptor, he
saw an opportunity to promote fellow artists, actors, musicians, filmmakers and
other creative talents. His interest in marketing and communications expanded
into sectors such as lifestyle and consumer goods, while he developed a
particular interest in small businesses and start-ups. Daniel also teaches
public relations at Humber Institute of Technology.
Some of the things we discussed were:
How has social media changed the way we communicate
in marketing and public relations?
What is considered good social media practice?
Describe the new shift in which organizations are
putting the consumer in the driver’s seat?
Describe the new shift in communicating to
individual consumers, rather than to an entire target market?
How can even small businesses practice good
marketing and public relations?
How can public relations build community leadership
and social responsibility for an organization?
Daniel Schneider's works on paper hang in the Toronto Four Seasons Hotel, the Soho Metropolitan and the Cosmopolitan. The Chandelier Series has appeared on episodes of Designer Guys and Cityline; in issues of Canadian House and Home and Style at Home.
