Jackie Cassagnol is the Founder of Worldwide Community First Responder (WCFR). Tim Chhim and I interviewed her for Journey To Success Radio.
Jacqueline Cassagnol is the founder and president of Worldwide Community First Responder (WCFR), Inc. She is a registered nurse with her Master's Degree in Nursing Education, and Post Master's Degree in Nursing Administration.
As a result of her experience in preparing for.. and assisting with victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, Jackie founded WCFR to provide health education, first aid, and disaster-preparedness training. She has presented locally, nationally and internationally at nursing conferences about WCFR and its collaboration with other non-profit organizations to improve global health outcomes.
In addition, Ms. Cassagnol has presented at an International Research Congress regarding a disaster preparedness project that she initiated through WCFR in collaboration with Haitian American Nurses Association (HANA) at Faculte des Science Infirmieres a Leogane (FSIL), a nursing school in Haiti. She has been recognized with numerous distinguished awards for her community services.
Cassagnol is also a nursing professor at Dominican College, a Rockland Community Emergency Responsive Team (CERT) member, a HANA member, the North America region 14 communication chair of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Honor Society of Nursing, and a founding member and immediate past vice-president of the Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce. Recently, Ms. Cassagnol was honored as a “rising star” by the Rockland Economic Development Corporation at the organization’s 13th Annual Forty Under 40 Reception. She was also honored as the "safe community" award winner by Volunteer New York at the organization's 35th Annual Volunteer Spirit Awards Breakfast Benefit.
Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. was founded in September 2011 by Jackie Cassagnol. After a successful outcome of training first responders in the town of Grand Goave, Jacqueline Cassagnol gathered the healthcare professionals, whom she met on a mission to Haiti, to continue offering these services worldwide.

Worldwide Community First Responder (WCFR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit/charitable organization with a mission “to prevent deaths worldwide through education and training”. WCFR offers two main services: WCFR Health Education and WCFR Training Program. The WCFR Health Education focuses on educating community members worldwide of fatal health conditions and preventative measures. The WCFR Training Program is dedicated to providing worldwide community-based first response and first aid training. WCFR provides its services worldwide to all communities regardless of gender, age, race, religion, sexual orientation, ability, economic and social class. WCFR members are a diverse group of volunteers who provide their services free of charge. Through their efforts, WCFR members seek to empower individuals in their own communities and save lives.
