If: Trading Your If Only Regrets for God's What If Possibilities

If: Trading Your If Only Regrets for God's What If Possibilities by Mark Batterson will rejuvenate your spirit and knowing that all things are possible and God is for you. I read a library copy so I took pictures of parts of the book that spoke to me.

The title alone intrigued me because it is similar to one I published that is titled Beyond What If.

"No power on earth or in hell can conquer the Spirit og God in a human spirit. It is an inner unconquerableness." - Oswald Chambers

"Everything I rejected about God was not God. It was was people who go to church and do not show the love of (Jesus), people who don't practice what they preach..."

I have read a One Year Bible every year for about 25 years. I guess that I read about 65% of the entire Bible every year. In total, I have certainly read it front to back more than 15 times. I wonder how many people that attend church every week have read the entire Bible.

"At some point, most of us stop living out of imagination and start living out of memory. That's the day we stop creating the future and start living by logic."

"'s the sins of omission that grieve the heart of our heavenly Father most - the wouldas, couldas, and shouldas. Why? Because know one knows our God-given potential like the God who gave it to us in the first place!"

Iis a powerful little word. Some people are stuck in "if only," trudging through lives marked with regret. But God wants us to live lives marked with possibilities, with the "what if" attitude that looks forward to the future with confidence. Why? Because the answer to "If God is for us, who can be against us?" is "No one." God is always on our side. Every day, in every way.

With his trademark enthusiasm and contagious joy, Mark Batterson helps readers overcome feelings of guilt, fear, and doubt, because in Christ there is no condemnation. Unpacking the promises of Romans 8, he shows readers that they are more than conquerors--right now and forever. And because of that, the possibilities for their lives are limitless.

Christians from all walks of life will find themselves set free by this inspiring and entertaining read.
