How to Win Friends & Influence People ranks right up there with Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill as one of the bestselling books of all time. I recently re-read it after having read it over 20 years ago.

When I initially read the book in my mid 20's, I used some of the points in the book to meet the then Prime Minister of Canada, Brian Mulroney for a personal meeting.

As I was reading I noticed that I use many of the things that Carnegie wrote about and wondered how many of them I had first started using because of the book.

Enjoy my summary of the book. I can just cover the points covered and not all the great stories that prove the points. That is a shame because the stories are the heart of the book as well as the suggestions and tips. 

Book Summary

The book was originally published in 1937 by Simon and Schuster and only 5000 copies were printed. Today it is one of the all-time international best-sellers.
