Put story-telling into a blender. Add a dash of personal growth & transformation. Then drop in a load of laughs. Mix in real, live music, and great conversation with some of the nicest people on the planet, then push the ‘high’ setting.
Think of it as a variety show bouncing off the walls of personal story-telling...
The events are for all kinds of people like you with a great story and life lessons to share, from people who have never set foot on stage, to professional speakers and everyone in-between!
Each show, you experience five to seven speakers and performers sharing a few personal stories. Some are funny, some are thought-provoking, all are motivating.
What’s more, you get to socialize with all kinds of wonderful people in a fun, positive environment.
Who created this wonderful event?
Thank you for asking. It was developed by Michel Neray who continues to host in Toronto.
Special thanks go to Jo-Anna Downey for hosting the longest running open mic in North America and showing everyone ‘how it’s done’; Kate Davis for wondering aloud, ‘I wonder if we can do a kind of an open mic but for speakers?’; and Judy Croon for her unfailing encouragement at the start.
Google any of these names to learn more about them, or better yet, come to an event and say hello!
Since the beginning, a huge number of speakers, coaches, trainers, event planners and people with great personal stories have contributed in a thousand different ways to build the ‘momentum’ we have now.
